The JS11-G1 Magnetic Analyzer is designed for measuring trace magnetic substances in granular, powder and fine-powder materials. It combines rapid measurement, stable performance and straightforward single-key operation in a compact benchtop instrument. For compatible applications, it can also serve as a modern replacement option for laboratories using the MA-1040 Magnetic Analyzer (old Buck Analyzer).
Trace magnetic measurement for powders and granular materials.
The JS11-G1 is designed for the measurement of trace magnetic substances in granular and fine powder materials, including magnetic components associated with iron, manganese, nickel, cobalt and other materials.
In practical samples, several magnetically responsive substances may be present at the same time, and each can exhibit a different magnetic susceptibility. Rather than identifying each component independently, the instrument measures the combined magnetization effect produced by the magnetic components within the sample.
The measured response is compared with the magnetic response produced by a reference quantity of pure iron powder. The result is expressed as the equivalent percentage or ppm content of pure iron that would generate the same magnetic response.
High-performance magnetic shielding, sensitive sensing components and integrated signal processing help provide stable measurement with strong resistance to external interference.

From magnetic response to equivalent iron content.
The JS11-G1 evaluates the overall magnetic response of the sample and expresses the result using an equivalent pure-iron reference value.
Combined magnetic response
Powder and granular materials may contain several magnetically responsive components. Because the magnetic susceptibility of each material can differ significantly, the JS11-G1 measures the combined magnetization response of the sample rather than attempting to identify individual magnetic substances.
This response is compared with that generated by pure iron powder. The final measurement is reported as the equivalent amount of pure iron that would produce the same magnetic effect.
A 100 g sample is prepared for measurement.
The sensing system measures the combined magnetic response generated by the sample.
The measured response is evaluated against the response of a pure-iron reference.
The result is expressed as equivalent magnetic content in percentage or ppm.
